The Tagged Photon Spectrometer Collaboration

Fermilab experiment E691 using a tagged bremsstrahlung beam from 260 GeV/c electrons. The photon energy is between 90 and 260 GeV, and the experiment collected 108 events. Approximately 10000 reconstructed charm events. The event rate was approximately 10Hz to tape

The SLAC Hybrid Facility Photon Collaboration

Hybrid bubble chamber experiment using back scattered photon beams from a 30GeV electron beam. The photons have energy of 19.6 +- 2 GeV. They had 20-30 photons per pulse with a 10-12 Hz rate. From 3.6x106 pictures, they obtained 136 charm events. The total charm cross section is (62+-8+15-10)nb, of which (71+-11+-6)% is via c production. They also find:
( p DDX) = 17+8-6 nb.
